To strengthen the teachers team construction and build up the medical simulation center, resident standardization training for teacher-training class held in The Second Affiliated Hospital of South China University on May 6 until May 9.

        The opening ceremony held in the academic hall of South China University in the morning on May 7. The director of Education Department of the National Health and Family Planning Commission of the People’s Republic of China, inspector of Health and Family Planning Commission of Hunan Province, director of Science and Education Division of Hunan Province, president and secretary of South China University，director of The Second Affiliated Hospital of South China University, and nearly 130 clinic teachers of Guangdong and Hubei Province attended the opening ceremony.

        Training course invited medical simulation experts throughout the world. Including professor Paul Phrampus, who is the ex-president of The International Meeting for Simulation in Healthcare as well as the professor of University of Pittsburgh, and professor Lin from Taipei Medical University Medical Simulation Center.

        Training course introduces Medical Simulation for resident standardization training from following four aspects. Including difference between medical simulation and traditional education, simulation case design, feedback of medical simulation, how to be a qualified simulation teacher. In order to improve the teaching effect, training course dividing into two parts, including theory course and workshop course. Everyone involved and felt productive.

        Practice course selected the top science technology of medical simulation-----Gaumard Hal，. The Second Affiliated Hospital of South China University input patient simulator HAL, SUSIE, PediaHAL, BabyHAL and NOELLE, which are the most advanced Tetherless Simulator in the world. All of the participation experts were pleasantly surprised by the simulation technology of Gaumard patient simulator, and came some new ideas about medical simulation. The medical simulation workshop added into residents training, which will make a big wave of resident standardization training revolution.

        Experts felt satisfied with the training course, which can broaden their vision and concept.

We will cooperate with resident standardization training base to provide considerate service for all hospitals, and boost the development of resident standardization training.
